On August 30, 2008 the Black Hills Scottish Athletes is starting a new chapter. For the first time in our 10 years of promoting the Scottish Highland Games (Heavy Athletics) we are taking the lead in providing the community with a well organized Celtic Athletic event. Our goal is to be able to organize a Highland Games "for the athletes-by the athletes". We are holding this groundbreaking event at Jackson Park in Rapid City, SD. With the Rocky Mountain Scottish Athletes Championships we will see a heightened level of competition. We are only able to do this with the generous help from all of our sponsors, please take some time to notice each and every one of them and if the need arises support them. |
